- The title of this episode is a homage to the song of the same name by Pink Floyd.
- When talking about the construction of the manor house, I mentioned that I will be using wattle and daub.
- My family and I spent a few days in British Columbia after Christmas. We spent a couple of days in Vancouver and a couple of days in Squamish from where we would drive up to Whistler to play in the snow. While in Vancouver, we spent some time in Gastown and I took lots of pictures of the old buildings and the steam clock… all of which is inspiration for designs in New Londinium.
- When I mentioned the “Black Friday Sale”, this is what I was referring to.
Ever since I watched The Sting as a child, I have loved Ragtime music. However, I am not a musician, composer, or even a particularly knowledgeable fan of music. I enjoy what I enjoy and that includes many different genres of music. However, Ragtime is the soundtrack for the era I am simulating and this may the first time that modern listeners may be exposed to it. So I am including some general Ragtime links and whatever information I can find on the particular tracks I used in this episode.
