More Information
  • At the top of the episode, I mentioned that the town I had found was exceptional and was probably created from the Luki’s Grand Capitals mod.
  • A little later on, I explained a bit about the overall dangerousness of the world, and how much of that was due to my inclusion of the Ice and Fire mod.
  • When I freed up a villager that was blocked from moving due to a piece of carpeting, I talked briefly about the quality of carpeting and mentioned shag carpeting from the 60’s and 70’s.
  • I used the idiom, “Leaving money on the table.”
  • When I saw the guard villagers look as if they were going to help the stuck villager… and ultimately give up, I mentioned the Keystone Kops and Abbot and Costello.
  • After spotting the recruit in gold armor near the center of town, I remarked that he was there courtesy of the Village Recruits mod and that by default, such recruits replaced the Iron Golems normally spawned in the towns.
  • “Snicker-snack” is the sound that the Vorpal blade makes in the famous poem, the Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll.
  • Things That Make You Go Hmmm… was a popular song back when I was stationed in the United Kingdom.
  • My spell “Bigby’s Paxel” is named after the archmage, Bigby from the Greyhawk campaign for Dungeons and Dragons and Advanced Dungeons and Dragons.
  • When I found that special Eye of Ender, I mentioned Goldeneye, a James Bond movie.  That eye is from the End Remastered mod.
  • As I journeyed through the fir forest, I talked a bit about trees and mentioned deciduous trees.
